This anti-sag gate kit is like a well-meaning friend who shows up to help you move but forgets their gloves—it gets the job done, but not without some grumbling along the way. The stainless steel construction is sturdy, which is great because my gate was looking like it was auditioning for a role as a seesaw.Installation was mostly straightforward, but drilling holes into my gate felt like a workout for both my patience and my cordless drill. The "adjustable size" feature is nice, but measuring and cutting the brace felt like trying to assemble IKEA furniture without the instructions—lots of guessing and some mild swearing.While it did help stop my gate from sagging, it didn't magically restore it to its original glory, as promised. Now, it’s more of a "sassy lean" than a full sag. Good enough for a fix, but I wouldn't exactly call it a miracle worker.Overall, it’s an okay solution if you’re desperate to fix a droopy gate without replacing it entirely. Just be ready for a little DIY adventure... and maybe some colorful language.

I had to wait until better weather to attempt installation of this anti-sag bar. I found that there were no instructions in the box and the included screws did not fit. The only instructions seem to be in the product description and possibly were missing from the box. The other problem was attempting to figure out the direction of the metal poles, so the bars could be applied. The bars are made of sturdy metal and connecting both bars was easy once I figured it out. Overall, the bars do add some lift to the gate, but it was not the best. The one big negative was the missing instructions and wrong screws.
