I was needing grommets for a desk built out of a solid wood door. These slipped into the hole left where the doorhandle was PERFECTLY. Giving me cable routing and a nice clean look.These are MUCH better than plastic desk grommets as they can be pushed in to slightly smaller spaces, hold their shape, and provide a much softer medium for cables to be against.I also repurposed an old portable wood sauna for a PC closet (sounds funky but worked great). I used a door handle hole drill bit to open up cable channels in the side. And yep, I'm buying another set of these grommets for that.These are a little more expensive than what is sold for desks, but I highly recommend them for these odd uses.

Nice thick rubber and outside lip. But could use an inside lip to make it less prone to pop back out during installation and putting wires in and out. Does the job nicely.

I got what I wanted in a timely manner. I used them to hang wind chimes. They work in a 3/16 hole in sheet metal.

Worked great for a few wires I needed to pass through some body panels in my truck. Used a hole saw for everything but depending on the gauge material and/or multiple panels in certain areas, a regular rubber grommet doesn’t work. This style is perfect for those situations and are exactly as described… Check the dimensions before ordering to save yourself some headaches.
