As an avid home gardener, almost all of my plants are grown from.seeds. I like these paperish better than plastic. The plastic ones do not drain as quickly as this type. And as an over waterer, this helps me know when more water is really necessary. I kill less seedlings from over watering.

The pots got a mildew smell the day after planting and then grew visible white mold within a week. Very disappointing as this may kill the cuttings I put in them.

I use a potting compound and sow giant sunflower seeds in them. When germinated I plant the pot and seedlings directly into the soil.Regards Mike EvansPort Royal Jamaica..
