Super easy to install on our 2016 Ram but had to buy two different bolts had new threads but it went on just fine. My mother-in-law is a little over 300lbs. And she got in just fine, very sturdy. They are attractive too.

Didn't come with instructions, was easy to figure out, but I am also a mechanic by trade. Hardware is cheap. Came with a large bag of wrong size nuts, bolts and washers. Brackets are thin metal. The steps are thin, I am 300 lbs myself and they are firm, but not solid, they have movement when you put all your weight on them. But overall for the price of them, they are good enough.

We order a lot of these boards for Ram DT DS DJ 1500 and Ram 2500 trucks at our dealership. We buy from multiple sellers because for reason, the sellers are usually always different. We use Classic body and new body ram boards. Most boards themselves are good quality for the price, but you never know. That depends on the supplier. However, the hardware in these kits is usually not correct and most of the time not even useable. The picture shows the hardware that came with this particular kit. It will definitely NOT work with the 2021 and 2024 Ram 2500s we bought them for. We either have to order a riv nut style hardware kit from mopar or order a hardware set from amazon.

I had to purchase four (4) additional flange bolts and had four (4) extra bolts (photo) I can not use. I guess the 2019 to 2024 Ram 1500 Classic bodies are not the same.
