This is a nice large (1.75 gallons / 28 cups) very sturdy glass container that is perfect for making corned beef. I’ve tried several different enamel pans in the past, and I never felt certain that they were truly 100% non-reactive. (It’s easy to have imperfections in the larger enamel stock pots or to have it chip.) This borosilicate glass container is perfect. It will never chip, react, or contaminate the brine. Just what I was looking for.

This is a very sturdy and well.made container. Gratis seal and keep feed fresh for a long time. The gandle makes it easy to carry.

The container is glass and the lid is made of sturdy plastic. My 13lb. turkey fits in SNUGGLY but I'm unable to use the lid because of the handle indent in the lid. It will work out better with a chicken or a couple of quail. Otherwise, I'm happy with it and it will suffice with aluminum foil for the lid.Update: it's great for storing the cut turkey pieces!

I didn't want to brine my beef brisket in plastic so I decided to try these. I bought 2 of them, and together they fit a flat and a point (folded, but they fit). I would love to see an even bigger glass option added because I can't find one anywhere. I appreciate the ridges on the sides that make them easier to handle when washing.
