This tool saved me time and my sanity. Yes you hear all the people say just use a hammer and screwdriver & yes that may work but not all of us are that lucky. I used this with a 1/2†x 16†pry bar and it gave me the leverage needed to remove the ring. With its durability I was able to give it 2 hits with a hammer to knock the ring loose. This tools fit and functionality is time saver for the home mechanic. Save your sanity and order before you do the repair. What’s the worse that can happen, you don’t use it and keep it or return it.

The tool works and fits the pump housing. I searched and this was one of the cheapest options. Good thing because removal would be next to impossible without it.In my view a great value and product.Do not contact me with general questions or product data query / inquiries I am not an expert on anything and review is subjective. All of the product data is provided in the description. Please call or research online the manufacturer for more product information.

This tool is well constructed, although it is simply a pressed piece of iron. Having worked in the oilfield since the mid 70’s I do understand a few things about metal. This tool fits well, and does not flex under pressure. I used a torc wrench with it to remove the fuel pump and fuel sending unit keeper rings on my 2008 Dodge Charger, and it did it’s job well!Definitely a tool worth having in your toolbox!

Mine didn't fit, I ended up going with another company's tool that looks just like this one except theirs did fit. I compared the two to see why this one didn't fit, and it appears the one leg on the side that has two legs was slightly bent, making it impossible to get all three legs on the lock ring, just junk.

This is exactly what I needed to remove fuel pump ring for a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe 3.5. Took two seconds to remove with some regular arm strength. Breaker bar is all you needed to do the job.

This worked perfect, I used to use a flathead screw driver to take off but found it hard to put back on, so yes this is a definite time saving buy
