  • The Chromite Russian ball is a thin-shelled with dense chromite filling. A chromite ball has an enhanced Russian effect compared to the other ball filling (such as sand, bird feed, millet, and micro-glass beads). The lighter the weight of the shell in comparison to the weight of the filling, the more intense the effect.
  • In general this type of ball is mostly used for numbers juggling, but has become much more popular for all types of toss juggling
  • The high density chromite filling lowers the center of gravity of the ball, and the filling falls to the bottom of the ball faster on the catch compared to sand filling. However, this also increases the wobble of the ball if it is thrown from your hand with any spin or unevenness. The noticeable Russian effect makes juggling 7 balls easier with this Chromite Russian ball.
  • Diameter 65 mm/ Weight 85 grams (dense chromite filling)
  • Made of HDPE Thin Shell

Bought these for my juggling son-in-law who had never tried this type of ball, they really stall, and plant very well in the hand.If you have never used this type of ball, they can take a few weeks to get used to, compared to bean bag type.

These are the second set of russian juggling balls I've gotten. They look good, are evenly weighted, and feel good to juggle. The only downside is that one of the plugs does not lay flat and is pretty noticeable when juggling. For the price, though, I can't complain. I'll probably buy more in the future.

These balls are okay, they are weighted but have very obvious seams and are not all the way round. We kept them, as they are just for practice but we will try something else if we need more items for juggling. I do not recommend as they are not of the best quality.

These are a good set of Russian Juggling balls (especially for the price). We bought these for my son that juggles a lot, including clubs, rings, and even fire balls. He likes the balls however one of the balls is 77 grams instead of 85 which is just enough of a difference to identify it while juggling and makes more complicated patterns harder.
