We don’t have a light board but we use these to work on letters and tracing for our 3yo. My toddler enjoys them and they feel well made. I’m not concerned about them breaking in half or chipping easily and getting that rough jagged edge.

I got this set of translucent lowercase letters because I’ve been wanting to get a light table in the future, and I thought these would be perfect to use with one when I do. We haven’t used them yet, but I’m already so excited to incorporate them into learning activities and pair them with the other translucent tile packs we already have. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the pieces look like they’ll be fun for early learning and hands-on play. I love that the set comes with 3 full alphabet sets (78 pieces total), which seems perfect for spelling practice and word-building games. They also feel sturdy and well-made, with smooth edges that make them safe for little hands. Even though we haven’t tried them out yet, I can already tell these are going to be a fun and versatile tool for learning letters, sorting by color, and fine motor practice—especially once we have a light table to really bring them to life. For now, I’m just looking forward to using them, and I’m so happy to add them to our growing collection of translucent tiles. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting to make learning fun and interactive!

These surprised me - they have held up well against my toddlers. Fine for what they are, just letters and numbers to lay out and learn.

This set comes with a nice variety of letters and numbers. Overall I recommend this product. The tiles are lightweight, easy to manipulate, and look great on a light table. I feel like they are a decent size, though the minus sign is a little small so you may need to supervise if your kids are really young.I liked that it included both uppercase and lowercase letters. I appreciated especially that lowercase “a” was in normal font rather than a fancy font which is sometimes confusing for young kids. Note that lowercase “b”, “d”, “p”, and “q” are all literally the same shape tile though. These tiles don’t have a “right” or “wrong” side to them, so the fact that they are reversible means you’re kid might think the set comes with duplicate letters when technically that isn’t true.I especially liked this set because it included math SYMBOLS along with the numbers. There is an equals sign, minus sign, plus sign, less than/greater than symbol, and a piece I initially thought was a fraction bar, but I think is actually another number 1. It comes with numbers 0-9, or I suppose 1-10. I felt myself wishing there were one extra set of numbers so that I could make better use of the math symbols, but it will work for very simple math equations. The case looked great at first, but it’s nearly impossible for me to get all the pieces back inside, so unfortunately the case isn’t a selling point. (Though I will note if you can get them all back inside, it is VERY nice and compact! Doesn’t take much space for storage).

We don’t have a light table, but I really liked the colors and size so I ordered these. They’re nice in person, a good size for my daughter (about the size of her hand, bigger than the magnetic letters we had on the fridge) and she likes identifying the colors too. I started by taking a few letters out and putting them around the house. They stand out, so she’s been having fun finding the letters as we walk through the house and she identifies what she sees. I appreciate that it comes with a storage case for the letters/numbers we’re not using, we have enough toys everywhere.

Love this set! This set is a perfect learning set for my 2 yr old granddaughter. She is learning her letters and numbers. The size is perfect. Not overly huge and not dangerously small.Nice bright colors!!!I absolutely love that this set comes with upper case AND lower case letters! It will help her as she advances. We will be able to make words as she she continues to advances as well.Only con is the box it comes in PERFECTLY fits the set of letters and numbers when they are flat and lined up. Which means we have to arrange them perfectly to be able to close them back up to keep everything together. Sooo, nope. We are using a plastic ware container. It's just more practical.

I dumped this mix of letters and numbers on the floor and my daughter picked out the numbers she recognized. Then I got our letter flash cards and she found the matching letters and placed these on top. I also plan to use these in a sensory table with colored rice and colored beans. I don’t have a light table like suggested but it’s fun either way. My daughter enjoyed learning through play. All pieces were there.
