A little learning curve, was afraid of pulling out the rocker stud, but it worked fine

Surprisingly for cheap Amazon junk, this is actually well constructed and effective. Only problem I had was the feet were angled wrong from what I was working on (SBC), which caused the spring cap to tilt and prevent getting keepers in, but that was easy to fix by bending them a bit, and since every engine is different not really the tool's fault.

This tool works and is holding up nicely.I have no complaints. Easy to use and a good value for the money.

Nose tool. I don't have valve studs. Do I modified it. Works well now.

This works well - I have a set of Chevy heads that uses the smaller size and the unit comes with the larger size by default. You have to remove an external e-clip on a pin (don't lose it!) and remove the pin to flip the mandrel around. Would prefer some other type of fastener (push pin?) to flip the mandrel around but then again, I suspect most people are going to use this for one type of head anyway. I'm a Chevy guy and have several vehicles with similar heads (and thus, same stud sizes.) If you have to swap, just be VERY careful about that clip - I can easily see losing it.The only other thing is the angle of the presser feet doesn't really mate up with the angle of my valve retainer. Doesn't seem to affect anything once you press down good and hard (make sure you've screwed it down as far as you can before applying any pressure) but would prefer it to have matched up better.Otherwise, does the job - allows me to remove/install keepers so I can disassemble the heads.

Works well to compress the valve springs enough to remove to top retaining clip. Well constructed.
