I put a few drops of light machine oil (sewing machine, or SAE 20) on these and roll them around in the bag, this gives them some lubrication for the barrel of the paintball marker. I assume these, being aluminum, are a bit rough on the barrel. So the oil gives me a little piece of mind that I'm not wearing it out as fast.I get around 240 FPS first shot on a fresh 12g CO2 cartridge. This is about 20 joules, which is a good amount of energy to impart on the target. They fly straight and hit hard. Very happy with my purchase.Unlike rubber balls, these don't jam up the magazine in the S2. They feed great, and haven't had any issues. They do lose momentum as you exceed the 6th to 10th shot, and at about 13 or 14 shots the S2 is not even trying. This means the cost to fire the Salt Supply S2 is about $0.20 per shot. Not too bad for solid ammo in a paintball marker.

Great price point. You will lose range with added weight. I alternate Aluminum, Pepper. Work all over Kansas City and have had some Rough encounters!

The dia. Varied too much, allowing leakage.
