I love this pitcher. I have used it for so many things but most recently I have been making ice tea in it to mix with a store brand I buy to cut down on the sweetness. I had one exactly like it for about 20 years. Even though it is very sturdy, it broke and I was so happy to find a replacement.

Have only had this for a short time, but I believe it will work well for me. I'm trying to move away from plastic as much as I can, so I've decided to order a second jar and transfer our gallon milk into those. The half gallon jug fits nicely in the refrigerator door. Hopefully they'll hold up. The lids are a little wonky. May order silicone lids to have a more secure and air tight closure.

The container is great easily holding a 12 ounce container of concentrate plus the requisite 36 ounces of water. The top, however, leaves much to be desired: difficult to remove; must be removed to pour otherwise it leaks. Weirdly, an extra top was shipped with each container speaking strongly of the manufacturer's confidence with their product. Still happy with purchase although looking for a different cover.

Update #2: company reached out and offered a refund for the full amount, eventhough we took a couple of weeks to reply they still honored their offer. For the company, I would suggest to just add a thin layer of silicone cover at the bottom and make the lid fix perfectly, if they could make it spill proof it would be nice, then it would be the perfect pitcher.Update #1: lowered rating to 3 stars, because eventhough the glass seems thick it's not that strong, I bought 3 and when one slightly bumped against the other one (the bang was as loud as toasting) one of them broke at the bottom (as big as two grains of rice put next to each other) I didn't notice right away so it made a mess in the fridge. So because of that, the lid and the drop issue I don't think they're worth it anymore. The only good thing about them is that they look really nice and they are very ergonomical. I think people who need just the one might still like them but people who need two or more will eventually get disappointed. And just to be cautious, be extra careful when placing them on stone countertops or glass tablesOriginal: I really liked the jars but the bad thing is that the lids are very flimsy, you get 2 lids with each jar but not all lids fit snuggly. It would be really nice if the lids fit better or even were leakproof, other thing, when you pour your liquids there's always that last one drop that runs down the jar so you have to clean that last drop every single time if you want to keep your fridge clean.

Wanted to use this in refrigerator for our organic almond milk because the original container is too tall for our shelves. This item would fit perfectly except that it keeps arriving broken. First order had a broken lid. I sent it back and reordered, Second order had a broken bottle. Going to try one more time. Third time is a charm right?? I think it its most likely because the glass jar is not packaged very well.

The jar is exactly what I expected and wanted, sturdy and thick but the lid is unattractive, super thin cheap plastic that doesn't allow for the proper flow of water, and spills out messily but overall good
