Followed the instructions in a YouTube video and it took about 15 minutes to replace the battery in my Latitude 5401. Very simple procedure. I let it charge for a few hours but it didn’t hold power. I started to write a poor review and Amazon sent me a note with some additional steps to try. I followed those instructions, the battery charged, and it’s been working great ever since. It has now been several months since I installed it and I regularly run the laptop on battery power for four to five hours of light use without problems. When running power-intensive programs like rendering video or uploading multiple large files, the battery will drain faster, but that’s to be expected. Overall, I’m very pleased with this product and would buy it again.

The original battery for my laptop (a Dell Precision) was barely holding a charge, so I replaced it with one of these. After that I had hours of battery life again. Unfortunately, about 7 months after buying and installing the battery in my laptop, I noticed that the laptop's battery was only lasting about an hour. After running a scan of my PC I got an alert saying that the battery was degraded and that the battery capacity was half of what it was supposed to be. So I reached out to the sellers here on Amazon, and they quickly sent me a brand new battery, no hassle or anything. After installing it my laptop once again has hours of battery life. The attached picture shows the Battery capacity history from the battery report, and you can see the change after I replaced the battery with this new one. Highly recommend, it is a good battery and these sellers honored the 12 month warranty claim, so next time I need a battery I'll buy it from them. 10/10

I got my replacement battery in December and it didn't last very long (2 - 3 months). I'm not sure if it's a problem with the laptop or not but when I inquired about their warranty, they were extremely prompt with their responses and with no questions, sent another battery almost the next day. Great customer service experience

It lasted 2 days before it was no longer functional. I asked Best Buy to check it and they said the battery was no good. I really regret not putting it in immediately and seeing that it was defective. Smh. Guys it’s better to buy from the company brand of your pc.

One of the issues with buying these is taking the gamble if the item will perform as described. Got this for my wife's Dell Laptop and it works great. Easy to install and replace the original one. Make sure this model will fit your laptop as not all batteries are compatible with Dell model.

My Dell laptop model is listed for this battery, but it is the wrong capacity, wrong voltage, and the physical size is completely different. I am returning it for a refund. The photo tells the story.UPDATE - Dell supplied 4 different battery packs for this laptop. The one I ordered didn't fit, but I didn't know the battery size until I disassembled the computer. The battery was returned to ZTHY and they issued a prompt refund.5 stars for customer service.

Getting batteries for old computers can be a pain in the ass. I'm using an old Dell with an Ivy Bridge processor which is a bit power hungry on account of the older tech.This works well, as good as the original. This is how products should be.
