To be honest, I didn’t see any instructions in the box, so I don’t know anything about the so-called app that controls the trees. I do have to say that I like the trees the plug right into the wall and have a simple on and off switch. Guess I’ll have to go back to find the instructions online.

This was a great addition to the seasonal decorations, the brightness, assembly was easy and quick. The cord is great length, the app works well. I have my lights on a timed schedule to save money on the energy bill. It’s nice a stable and it wasn’t too expensive.

Someone at work recently bought a birch tree that lights up and it’s so beautiful. Everyone is asking about it and wanting the link to buy it. I saw this one that has two trees and jumped at the chance.I’m so sorry to write a bad review but these don’t look good. They are basically a set of lights that go up a stick and then wrapped in tape. If you look at them closely you can see the wire going up and my tape is peeling in a ton of places. It looks like white tape that someone put some black dashes on with black ink. If you look at them from maybe 15 feet away they may be ok. I’ll give it 3 stars due to the different options that are available with lighting effects.

This two pack of birch trees are simple and cute. The branches can be bent and moved around, and there are numerous light settings. Some of my family felt that the trees are too bare, resembling a Charlie Brown tree, but others liked the simple, sparse look. The trees have a USB plug, and they do not come with power bricks to plug into the wall. They can be powered via plug in or via batteries on the base of each tree. Both the base of the tree and the plug in can be used to change the tree to different light settings.
