I haven't had a chance to actually lay it down in my beds yet, so I can't attest to how well it will be blocking weeds, but starting in March I will be starting on my flowerbeds, and will definitely be using this. It's a super heavy roll and seems to be made of excellent quality plastic. I do believe just be feeling it and seeing it, that it will do a wonderful job. It's thicker than our current weed barrier, which was great for about 3 years, so I'm excited to see how long this one will last!

I had a very good experience with this weed block, which I put down before spreading mulch in my front yard. This size/style seemed to be easier to cut and install than the long roll kind. And if it stays at around this price ($9.99 as of Feb. 2025), it’s also less expensive than the roll kind, especially considering that you get 15 landscape staples along with the weed block.

Although this weed barrier comes with lots and lots of landscape stakes included, the material itself is inferior. It is a thin plastic that lacks durability. The plastic will degrade easily. It is not the thicker, fabric-like material of landscaper-grade professional weed block. Looks more like the material that IKEA bags or European shopping bags are made out of. I don't doubt it will work for a short time, but I wouldn't use it.

I've laid this weed barrier beneath a layer of hay, secured with chicken wire, and for the first time, I'm staying ahead of the weeds. In some spots, I’ve used cardboard, while others have this barrier. Although I’m not entirely sold on using plastic, I’m hopeful that after two years, this approach will help reduce the build-up of viable weed seeds, making it possible to manage weeds by hand with bark mulch—without it taking over my life. This barrier is a fantastic solution for gaining control of a new planting area with a persistent weed problem. I'm eager to see how the results of cardboard compare to the weed barrier. Both are working well so far! This area has been trimmed to a smaller strip for now, but I'll soon be using the full 13ft width on a hillside to plant pumpkins. I love that this barrier is wide enough to support both methods!

This weed blanket is as good as any others I’ve seen. It’s 50 feet of durable barrier to keep weeds from coming up into your rock garden, and while I have not had it lain long enough to know if it’s keeping weeds down, it seems to be doing its job as well as other barriers I’ve used. Good product.

This weed barrier fabric offers a decent thickness and is easy to cut and lay down, making it suitable for various landscaping projects. This is nice quality landscaping fabric! I was expecting it to be thin and somewhat see-through, but am pleasantly surprised at the thickness of the material. It is still easy to keep in place with landscaping stakes. Also, this specific size is a VERY long strip! Overall I am very happy and am looking forward to seeing how this works. Only time will tell!

This landscaping fabric is very heavy duty. The staples are extra-large one. I am using this in my new landscaping area.
