I got this for when I go camping and want a better read on possible changes in the weather. Sometimes I am out of smartphone range and it's nice to be able to check the barometer, humidity and temp... plus the O2 levels if I am up in elevation and the CO levels in a tent etc... just good to be able to keep up with that kind of stuff. I changed out the carabiner on mine to be a titanium one, it's a little lighter and I like titanium.I have fully charged it and left it running on my home office desk just to see how long the battery lasts fully charged. It made it 3 days each time I tested it. It kind of freaked me out the first time because it gave one little beep in the middle of the night when the battery got low, then it started beeping one little beep every fifteen minutes or so... until I got up and charged it. At first I thought it was detecting low levels of carbon monoxide or something.It would be nice if it were lighter but I will carry it no matter what when camping.

While this unit is accurate to within its stated specifications it is extremely slow to respond to oxygen level changes.The humidity and temperature readings are also accurate within its stated specifications but again they are slow to respond. Altitude measurement reading is pretty much worthless as it's being calculated based on the barometric pressure which is not an accurate way of determining altitude. But I already knew that's what they were doing so I didn't knock any stars off for that. Most people are gonna have AGPS with them anyways and the altitude reading on those is a bit more accurate.The real issue I have with this is that there is no way of calibrating it and there doesn't appear to be a way to change the warning/alarm levels.. That means once the alarms are triggered they'll just keep going off there's absolutely no way to silence them permanently. battery life is also relatively short.Overall I'm somewhat disappointed with this product. So I'm going to give it three stars.
