I used these propellers to make helicopters with kids. When they didn’t break they worked awesome. I found if you put a lot of tension on the rubber band the propeller would snap between post and hooks holding piece. Also, the fit on a popsicle stick is pretty snug which is great to ensure it stays on but it also has broke on me because I put too much force on the wrong part of the prop. So, as long as it is not overwound and your careful placing on the stick then these are a great deal. The really do work well and made the helicopters fly far. I made 1 rubber band plane and it flew better than a store bought. I would buy these again.

Used these for a scout evening exploring motion. The boys enjoyed building helicopters - results were mixed but research instructable.com for a great video on how to build and best design. The best one flew over 20ft high, found 3 bands worked best!

I was pleased with these. Used them in a STEM event at local primary school in the UK - the kids loved them. Younger children will need some time practicing winding them up before launching.

We will build and fly planes in the gym this coming May. Expecting about 25 to 30 builders, ages from 7 to 70. Liked the different blue color. Really liked that the props are already balanced.

Bought for Beaver craft activity, task was to make a flying machine. All were in good condition on arrival. They fit nicely onto standard lollipop sticks (got 50 pack of wooden ones from wilcos for £1). I also bought some sellotape, elastic bands and paperclips (to loop elastic bands round to at the bottom) for this activity so that the helicopter design could be made easily.Overall the quality of these is good, they were loaded with high tension from many elastic bands, thrown around and smashed into things as they flew, but none of them broke.Due to the cost, (~£13 for 10) we will be re-using them (rather than letting the kids take them home) so they have been a worth while investment for the group.I would recommend these.

I purchased these for a STEM project that I gave my Grade 6 students. Many, almost all of the nose bearings snapped during the model plane trimming process. I wouldn't buy these again.
