I haven't had any issues with them yet. My last ones, I got two for $30 and they broke right away. (different seller, not on Amazon) these I got for the listed price, I tried to break one to see how much pressure it could handle, let's just say it lasted longer than my previous set. This really is the best value and durability for the price! Very satisfied!

they are certainly very strong but the hook part on it is very shallow and it’s very thick and it’s hard to get it underneath the bead on the tire. I do love the fact you can clip it onto a spoke and it will hold- that’s very convenient but The thickness is just something to keep in mind.

A great tool to include in your bike bag! It's cheap insurance! Lightweight, takes up little space, and these tire levers are comfortable in the hand, does the job well without marring the rims. Plenty of leverage, and fit the application well. I am satisfied with them.

These leavers are kind of short. NOT good for a fat tire bike. I think for a road bike they would be OK.

I had purchased an electric mountain bike which added strength to this Senior's pedal legs. At the same time I had a 35 year old aluminum Trek with five cassette gears and three crank gears. This bike I had ridden in the Markleeville Death Ride twice and had also ridden across the five passes of the Sierras. Clearly it had made meaning for my younger days. So I got two new tires and tubes to fix up my road Trek in working condition. I ordered the Protomer Tire Lever set to help in the tire exchange. As it was the new levers did a great job in helping to put on the new tires and they had several features that added to their usefulness. There was a small hook in each lever which holds the lever to the spoke when putting on the new tire. The shape of the lever help me to smoothly slide the betting bead of the tire over the rim. Because they are plastic the Protomer Levers are light weight and fit easily in my saddle bag.
