I purchased these lenses for my Sony camera to see what color will work for my reef tank. To my surprise yellow is the perfect lens to take photos of my reef tank and cancel out the blue color of my lights. I thought orange was the color needed but turns out not. glad I got this multi color kit to figure it out. great price

This 37mm will screw into the front manual Iris, the Purple filter doesn't change the Green to any shade of white because the filter needs to be attached to the REAR eye ocular not thew Front Objective lens to change the color. The Manual Iris can screw into the front of a Carson Eye lens. So this can be used if you want a manual Iris on both sides of the PVS14. Once you screw this purple filter to the manual Iris and screw the manual iris to your Carson Eye ocular of a PVS14, you get a White image, not green.

I took test shots with all the filters and threw away the ones I'll never need. Still, a good deal for true filtering for black-and-white photos. 99% of photographers will use them to enhance cloud photos.

This set is a great way to test out and experiment with colored lenses with out spending a lot of money. I'm using them for B&W photography. You can beat the price on these.

Mainly got this for the orange filter to filter out blue light for my reef tank. Works but the orange is too intense.

No instructions nor any exposure factored supplies for any of the filters. Have to play a bit with them to nail down how they will work with film or digital.

They appear to be made of plastics. They are richly coloured with fair to good optical quality even though I would have prefered metal & glass but colour wise, they are what I needed for my intended experimental purposes which will be for multi coloured multi photo astronomy photography.
