I have used these chisels in a Baleigh Mortise Machine and they work just fine. They is definitely a difference between these and the more expensive highest quality Japanese chisels, but I can't afford those chisels right now. I am a weekend woodworker, so they work fine for me. The most significant caveat that you should be aware of is that these are advertised as SAE, but they are metric. There is a difference. As long as you take that into account when cutting the tenons, you'll be fine. I tried to squeeze a tenon into a mortise that was a little snug and wound up splitting the piece. I'll buy the better chisels one at a time. These have gotten my through a little project that I had, though.

Ordered these for Christmas present for husband. He informed me that you need an attachment for your drill to use.

THESE ARE SAID TO BE IMPERIAL SIZED IN THE ADD BUT ALL CHISELS ARE METRIC AND MORTICES WILL BE TO TIGHT UNLESS YOU ARE CUTTING EVERYTHING TO METRIC MEASUREMENTS

Products are either Metric or Imperial. These are metric. Not advertised correctly. In the US, we use imperial so I prefer imperial tools. I took a chance and won’t do so again. These do ok cutting but do jam from time to time.
