Used on a sliding steel gate with an angle iron track. I used 2in square steel for the frame and grinded off the top and bottom so I could mount the wheel in the middle of the tubing (I wanted minimal gap between the track and gate). This wheel is slightly too wide and I needed to spread the tubing just slightly, but it fits snug and works well. Fill with grease gun!

These are Chinese made. Upon receipt I was impressed with their design and manufacture. The wheel assembly comes with two lubrication/ grease points readily accessible once mounted for on going maintenance. One lubrication point distributes lubrication directly to the axel assembly, while the other distributes lubricant directly to the bearing assembly. I’ve used three of these wheels now for a few weeks moving a 1,300 lb. Metal gate without a problem.

Excellent product. Heavy duty wheel replacement. Works great. A slight modification was needed to get bolt through existing hole in bracket, but no big thing. Needed to ream hole a little larger to get shoulder of bolt through.

The roller itself is smooth and looks very well made. Just hope it won’t rust and perform for years to come.The threads on the bolt is really short. After installing, there’s about 1/10” of play. I’m afraid water can get in really easily from that. I will get some stainless washers to put in the gap. Would be an non issue if they made the threads a little bit longer to accommodate different size housings. My old bolt had about 1” of threads while this one had only about 1/2”, and unfortunately, I can’t use the old one because of different diameter. -1 star.
