When I opened the box of boxes my first thought was "wow these are really thin" and was worried I made a bad purchase for my need. I ship my crafts and I needed some strong boxes as I have been using. These boxes say they are created with "32 ect-B kraft corrugated" material so I did some research. Here are the results.The term “32 ECT-B kraft corrugated†refers to specific characteristics of the corrugated box:1. 32 ECT: This stands for Edge Crush Test. It measures the stacking strength of the box, indicating how much pressure the box can withstand from top to bottom before it crushes. A 32 ECT rating means the box can handle up to 32 pounds of pressure per inch of its edges.2. B Flute: This refers to the type of corrugation inside the box. B flute is a common type of corrugation that provides good stacking strength and crush resistance. It’s often used for shipping boxes because it balances strength and cushioning.3. Kraft: This indicates the material used for the box. Kraft paper is a durable, high-quality paper made from wood pulp. These were the best price for the size and quantity I needed. Quality is good. Fold lines are clean so they assemble quickly without any struggling. A standard 4"x6" shipping label, which are slightly taller and wider than 4x6, doesn’t quite fit on top, so you will have to resort to folding a small amount over the edge or trimming the label to fit. I opt for the trimming route. A small pain but looks neater overall. Outside dimensions when folded are 6.25"x4.0"x2.25". Weight is 1.4 oz.

I usually order 6×3×2 boxes to ship sunglasses and readers in, but decided to take a chance with this smaller size because the price was much less than the others! Was not sure if they would work but so far most pairs do fit! Plus they aren't flimsy like other brown cardboard boxes. Easy to fold and compact. Hope I can find them again in the future.
