I bought these because I was tired of filling 10ml test tubes with aquarium water and messing with chemicals, counting each drop. With these I just fill a small glass with aquarium water and dip the stick into it. Match the colors and you have your results. The readings I'm getting are near matches to the test tube kits and I use this as a diagnostic tool- if I see something off and need to investigate it further I will use the test tube kits. Great for weekly monitoring.. don't dip them straight into your aquarium though. Pull a sample and test from there.

No reading at all when tested in tank before water change. No readings upon testing discarded water. I even peed on a strip. No ammonia reading! Rip off!

Perfect for those starting an aquarium. I use filtered tap water (I know they say to not), but so far the results from the test strips accurately show that the filtered water that I'm using is within the range required for a healthy aquarium. Would recommend this product if you want a piece of mind.

Very highly reactive to nitrates and nitrites. 👍Testing 24 hours apart I can witness the nitrogen cycle absorbing and converting liquid fertilizer. The pH spectrum is limited and I'm higher than ideal but just outside the range of this test. It's not as specific as a full liquid test kit but perfect for weekly monitoring and instantaneous.Good value for test strips. Price point was the best option both locally and on-line so I highly recommend. Definitely keep the bottle stored away from lights as the comparison chart is on the bottle label and not protected from UV deterioration of the colour comparison chart. A secondary chart STORED INSIDE THE BOTTLE would be an improvement on this product. 125 test strips will last a si glue tank 2.4 years when testing once weekly. That's ample time for a colour chart on the label to deteriorate if left in a brightly lit place,such as beside tank with full spectrum grow lights.😉I'm satisfied and pleased with my purchase.👍👍

Has most tests I need, other than Ammonia. Comparison label on the bottle means you have to shield the bottle from the sun to not let it fade and so it must be taken out each time you test. A separate card would be nice. At 14$ its a great price.
