My elderly mother was having trouble with falling off her bed when trying to get out of it. The bed, with the frame itself, plus box springs, plus mattress, was simply way too tall for her to get her feet onto the floor so she could get out bed safely. I removed the box springs, and this instantly fixed the height problem. But then the mattress had only 3-4 slats across the bottom of the frame for support. I needed a very low profile "box spring" replacement. I found this one, and I'm happy I did. I was able to replace the traditional box spring with this one. And at only 1.5 inches tall, I was still able to keep Mom's bed low enough to be safe/comfortable for her, and also still provide support for the mattress. Mom is sleeping better than ever, and not falling out of the bed.Whatever reason you may have for needing a low profile box spring replacement, I think this one is a good choice. Price was reasonable. It was straightforward to put together. Once put together and placed on the bed, it's very sturdy and provides good support. Will have to see how it holds up, but so far, very happy with this purchase.

Very sturdy and not too hard to assemble. The instructions say 2 to 3 people need to help with the assembly, but I did it alone and it wasn't that hard. It provides all the support you need even for an oversized mattress.

I have purchased other products from this company and none of them disappoint!This trundle steel frame is perfect for our daughter’s twin bed and gives it the support it needs!It was easy to assemble, it’s sturdy and a great value for the money!

Follow instructions, watch videos, then as you assemble eyeball alignment of where the slats need to go. I have to say that this adds the solid noise free base for a mattress. The only reason I didn't give a FIVE STAR rating is the Problem of getting the product in a TAPED SHIPPING BOX. Well the reason was that a slat was missing (needed 24 got 23). So, tried to get the slat and only had the option of replacing. This meant getting the whole item taking the "ONE Slat" out and resealing the box (which will be missing one SLAT) then sending back. I will be writing with felt marker on the exterior of the shipping box "Missing 1 of the needed 24 SLATS".

This 7-inch "King-Size" Metal Box Spring with Round Corners - 3000 lbs Capacity is a lot sturdier than any traditional box spring and will last indefinitely longer. Usually when you read a product that says "Metal" you think of lightweight that holds heavier products... this by far would be described as a "Rod Iron Steel" material that even the Hulk could not break even if tried (lol). Not trying to downgrade my Hubby & me, but we together weighed almost 800 lbs and this bed frame by far exceeded our expectations!! but Easy to assemble (once you figure it out). Instructions could be a lot better. Words would be helpful instead of just unclear pictures.

Not sturdy at all. One side got bent as soon as it was put together.

The box is good but was sent 1.5 inches instead of 2inches that I ordered. Good thing the size still worked out.
