I have bar stools that are retractable under the surface top in our kitchen. The springs that I had, I can no longer replace due to the company that installed the stools are no longer in business. I was able to find these and bought a package of two at first and tried them out, worked well. I bought another package and now all the springs have been replaced and work very well.

Springs(2) arrived quickly and in good condition. Only one spring was required to replace the broken spring on the right side of our Scan Decor recliner. Once the broken spring was replaced the lounger leg rest returned to full function (i.e. would lock closed and would fully extend). A small amount of fiddling was required to install the replacement spring with the help of needle nosed pliers.
