I have just received and tested my TruLam 12†Pouch Laminator TL-320B and a set of TruLam 7 mil laminating pouches 9†x 11.5†LP07LTR. I called Lamination Depot and talked to a customer support person about my application, and she suggested 7 mil pouches (I was thinking of using the 10 mil). My test paper was simple 20lb. copy paper printed using a standard HP Ink-Jet printer. Following the suggested procedure and settings for the laminator, the first attempt was very nice and exactly what I wanted. It was very clear, stiff but still flexible, like a restaurant menu (and it was a lot cheaper than the 10 mil pouches). A typical office marker will work on the surface of the pouch, but will wipe off with your thumb or tissue. I also tested the Sharpie Permanent Marker, Milwaukee Inkzall, Nissen Nylon Tip Paint Marker, and the Nissen Feltip Paint Marker. All of these markers worked fine and didn’t rub off; but were easily removed using Isopropyl alcohol. I also tested Dykem remover and Mineral Spirits; and they did not damage the surface of the plastic pouch.I am very happy with the results.

Did not realize that the laminator I purchased at the same time will not handle the 7 mil thickness. 2 day shipping is the greatest thing since sliced bread in my opinion. Very happy with the quality of the product but as stated previously am unable to use. If you are buying laminating pouches at the same time as a laminator be sure to check the specifications.

We were using Lloyds of Indiana pouches purchased directly from them, but the price just kept going up and up. We have found these to be a good alternative. Strangely, every one and a while, after laminating a pouch, it will be wavy. But then the whole rest of the bunch will be fine. Not sure if our heat is too high or what. But these are definitely a good product for the price. Very thick and durable.

i purchased these only to find that they were the same as my 5 Mil laminating sheets … not very rigid. I then purchased another brand in the 7 Mil size, and those *were* thicker and useful for the project I was working on.

This is one of the best items I purchased this year. The 7 Mill Pouches work great in my Laminator I bought at Sam's Club. This is about 1/2 the price they sell for anywhere else for the exact same item, even cheaper then buying them direct from the manufacturer!Final product comes out exceptional!(using my $99.00 laminator). The problem with the pouches they sell at Sam's is that they are only 3 mill and 1/8" smaller on all sides. The company said it's so they fit in a binder but I think its to save money because you have to have the paper perfectly centered in the pouch or it shows.Buy these! They work perfect and are a bargin overall.

I bought a super quality office laminator from an estate sale and it works on 7 & 10mil, so I came hunting. Pure heaven. I'm glad I didn't get the 10mil. pouches; they would have been overkill. These 7mil are super strong and stiff. Clear as glass. I've been laminating everything I can get my hands on. I used to take my recipe cards to our local print shop and pay them a little fortune to get them laminated. I now do it myself and after just 8 sheets, they paid for themselves. You must have a machine that does pouches this thick, office machines. The kind you buy at regular stores, and sometimes even the big box office shops, aren't going to cut it.I'm amazed at the quality and quantity for the low price (don't let the seller know, I wouldn't want them to raise the price!!!). Now, to buy a binding machine!!! ---don't tell the hubs!

Okay well I am a pretty good traditional (drawing) artist and I use a laminator to keep my drawings from getting destroyed. Which has happened before...sadly..... Anyway I've laminated most of my works with this lamination paper I had laying around my house. It was very light and flexible. But this stuff is pretty heavy duty. It doesn't bend. It''s very think after laminating something, and a whole stack of laminated papers ways A LOT. I guess it would be my fault for ordering this type of thing off amazon not knowing the actual quality I would receive the product.

I bought these through the Amazon site from Lamination Depot. I was skeptical and nervous but figured I could just let my kids use them if they didn't turn out to be very good. They ARE very good. I'm very impressed. These are the 7 mil laminating pouches. They went through my laminator smoothly with no bubbles or other troubles. They turned out very professional and I'm very picky. I highly recommend these. Try them with no fear and save yourself some money. No, I don't work for them, I just know that there are probably people like me who would like to try them (at this low price) but are too afraid they'll be ripped off! I just hope Lamination Depot doesn't see this review and raise their price!
