My daughter is 9 and has always STRUGGLED with scissors as a LEFT HANDED kid. String? Fabric? Anything other than paper? Always a struggle. She CAN cut all the things with these scissors! They ARE sharp, so children need to be careful (mine is a bit of an aggressive scissor cutter due to struggles lol). I am so amazed and honestly a bit emotional that my girl can finally use scissors!

My granddaughter is left-handed and, no matter what the labels say, scissors are not both right and left handed. She was so happy to have her own that cuts easily. They are well worth the cost!

I’m 70 yrs. old and had hand surgery; since my dominate right hand is unusable for 10 weeks, I’m learning to use my left. These scissors are great! They are sturdy and comfortable; the blades are strong and sharp. I’ve been using them to deadhead flowers and harvest green beans in the garden, snip errant threads on clothing and other tasks. I’ll search for a right-hand pair of these after my hand heals.

These are NOT dedicated "left-handed" scissors as they are marketed. They are universal scissors. They are not comfortable for left-handed users if used for a extended period of time.One star ☆ for the misleading information in the description and title.

Made in ChinaMy grand lives with me and unfortunately for her, she's a leftie.Needless to say she was THRILLED with these left handed scissors. She's in middle school now so a little old, I would've thought, to be so thrilled with scissors...but apparently this is the only year she's ever had left handed ones. It's the little things.That said, I think they're overpriced.

I thought these would only be used by my lefty, but the other kids have no trouble using these scissors. Appropriately sharp. Cuts cleanly. Nice size too.
