Handy size box to keep around of commonly sized nuts, bolts and washers. Already saved me a couple of trips down to the local hardware shop. Box could be sturdier, but honestly I'm nitpicking there - arrived undamaged and is nice and compact. Tweezers in the box were a nice touch for picking out individual washers.

This is a good collection of grade 12.9 socket head cap screws in M2.5 size. In addition you get nuts and flat and spring washers. Plastic organizer is very good for storage. Shipping was fine too since each type was packed in a plastic bag.But let's talk about screw quality. 12.9 grade is the strongest you can get for metric screws and it is stronger than American grade 8. Such screws are normally expensive for a good reason. I took the liberty of inspecting all screw sizes for major dimensions like head diameter, head height, hex socket size and thread OD. Then I compared the measurements to ASME B18.3.1M standard. All dimensions were in tolerance.To check screws for strength a few samples from a batch are broken with a wedge test and the tensile strength of material is calculated. I could not do that, so instead I prepared threaded hole in the steel strip of sufficient thickness, installed screws with flat washers and torqued them with a torque wrench. I have used Holo-Krome torque specs for that: M2.5 - 1.43 Nm. All screws survived this test.Based on my testing I would recommend these fasteners for DIY projects.

Pick a size any size... yes, come right up and get your M2.5 in whatever length you desire! Ok, ok, maybe not any length but you get my point! Working on bicycles, small electronics and 3d printers I'm always after some odd sized metric screw and these fit the bill! On bicycles normally these are on the brake calipers, on the 3D printer they can literally be anywhere and small electronics, these are work well for fastening down boards. The screws are good quality and so far I have yet to strip one which is exciting because I'm really good at that (for whatever reason even when I use a torque wrench). All in all perfect kit for keeping around the house!
