It has a coating inside which is great for fried food and can also be used in the microwave. Great value for money!

These containers were the perfect solution to feed our group of over 400. The containers were made of high quality kraft paper and contained enough space for all of the food items. I was looking for a container to gift microgreens I grow to my friends and neighbors.I was pleasantly surprised that they are really good for this purpose. They kept the delicate arugula microgreens fresh for over 2 weeks in the fridge! without the box getting damp or wet in any way.They are a very good alternative to the classic plastic clamshell containers used for that purpose and much more ecofriendly. You just remove the plastic window and could toss the container in your compost bin.

Received for unbiased review...I tested these boxes by filling the bottom of one with water and letting it sit for half an hour. It did not show any sign of leaking (excellent). I did have two boxes out of the 50 develop a problem with glue adhesion on the edges. The two boxes' corners would not stay stuck together. I hope this will not be a problem for the others in the package. There are no recycling type markings on the boxes to indicate how they should be recycled, and nothing to say if they are compostable. They have plastic windows, so you will need to separate the plastic from them when you recycle (and if you find out how). I am reducing a star because the joints in the corners are quite shallow, so any liquid rising higher than half the height of the bottom of the box, is likely to leak out the corners. Also because of the glue separation. I am reducing a second star because of the lack of recycle instructions. If you are not expecting to use a lot of liquid, and you want to use something with more sustainable materials, this may be a good option for you.

These are a great option for anyone needing take out containers. My wife will be able to use these for salad preps and the obvious reason as well when there are leftovers to go home woth others. They will also be great for baked goods such as rolls, croissants, sliced breads etc. They are durable and sturdy with a wax lined interior to aid in preventing leaks with a window atop to peek in which is nice. They are a good value for money and am sure these will get their use.
