This "7-1/4"x7-1/8 S97012026 Bathroom Exhaust 50CFM Fan Motor Assembly..." is a perfect fit for my Broan bath fan that was making a lot of noise and sometimes not even starting. This fan is nice and quiet and was very easy to install. Hopefully it lasts as long as the fan that I replaced, which was there for about 10 years.

I checked the model number of my fan light and the advertisement for this item said it replaced it. But when it arrived it was a smaller metal frame. I was able to remove the motor from the new frame and add it to my original frame and it works well.

Our bathroom exhaust fan was about 17 years old and started to slow down and make a funny noise. I figured it was nearing the end of it's life and needed to be replaced. I was worried that the builder grade fan would be a pain to replace since most of the builder grade stuff in our house has been.This fan was a perfect replacement and went in with minimal trouble. I did have to use a machine screw to hold it in the housing since the housing was a little different from what this one called for. There was one little tab missing in my housing, but the screw held it up on that side and now it's good to go.Nice and strong, not too loud (but not quiet either).It's just the right volume to mask bathroom noises.Highly recommend.

The replacement of this fan motor assembly is quite simple and easy. The assembly is held by the bent lips on both sides. Additional bending may be needed to fit the housing. Once the assembly is in place, there's an extra screw on the one lip side to fix it in place. Attention should be paid if the flapper on the housing is functioning properly when replace the motor unit. It works as expected and makes fan repair easy.

Easy to install, powerful 50CFM airflow, and very quiet. Keeps my bathroom well-ventilated and is super quiet, also didn't cost me an arm and a leg!

This motor assembly is a perfect fit for my Broan-NuTone fan. Installation was straightforward, and the 50CFM performance restored my bathroom's ventilation. It’s quiet, efficient, and well-made—a great replacement part at a good price.

My existing bathroom vent fans are 15+ years old, and quite loud. The 696N R02 is a 4 Sones fan, and this one is advertised as a 2 Sones fan, so it should be much quieter. First the good: This fan was quick and easy to swap out with my old fan. Just pop out the old one and bend the metal tabs out a bit on the new one, and within a few minutes it was installed and working with no issues. However, the only reason I'm giving a 3-star review is because it's not that quiet. It is just as loud as the one I replaced. Overall it does what I need, but was hoping it would be noticeably quieter than the one I replaced it with.
