Ford ranger leaf spring shackle
IMPORTANT PART
Shackles are components of leaf spring suspension systems. They play an essential role in ensuring that the leaf will handle length changes correctly. They can be found between the spring and the hanger, which is connected to the frame to facilitate movement. The other end of the leaf spring stays mounted to the chassis. It may become necessary to replace shackles when they begin to function improperly.

Works GREAT on my 1999 Ford Ranger XLT. When rebuilding the rear suspension, the shackles and shackle mounts where VERY rusted. This bundle is MUCH cheaper than any of the other options, seemingly sturdier than other OEM replacements, and the included hardware is great too. It was all CRAZY easy to install.

I purchased these shackles for a 2000 Ranger that had them rusted in 2. I removed the riveted on brackets that were also rusted out and install the entire kit. It was necessary to lower the spare tire to get access to the inside of the frame. I also recommend cutting the old rivets out with a torch as grinding them off and punching them out takes too long. I would definitely buy these parts again as they are sufficient quality at a great price.
