This is great for emergencies and doesn't take up a lot of space. It has great sound for such a little thing too! I didn't try the shortwave, but everything else I did and it works perfectly.

With the recent weather emergencies in Los Angeles, a reliable power source was a luxury. I bought this because I needed something that could charge our (many) devices without relying on electricity and thus gave me that and more! Not only did it power up three iPhones, one iPad Air and a set of iPods, it recharged itself quickly in the sunlight. When our power was out, it served as a powerful light source which was very comforting while providing us a source of news through its radio, helping us feel connected and safe. I bought one for every one of my kids and will be making them gifts for all my friends this holiday season.

Good little radio and battery. Seems a bit breakable so I wouldnΓ’β¬β’t recommend dropping it. Tuning dial wanders a little bit

This was definitely worth my money the radio is super loud. You won't have to worry about not hearing anything. The flashlight and reading light are super bright you won't have to worry about not seeing anything at all so far everything on this is great. I will agree for such a small radio it has weight to it that's for sure. I've been charging it almost 6hrs like it says to do and then once that's done I'll be putting it away until the time to use it comes. I highly suggest buying this. You'll be like me and everyone else you'll be happy you did. Oh and use the coupon I did knocked it down to $41 again worth it.
