Attention

Maintenance and Repair of Window Regulator
- During regular maintenance of the electric lifter, all moving parts of the motor should be cleaned. The shaft sleeve of the transmission part should be filled or replaced with lubricating grease. The wear marks and carbon deposits on the surface of the motor steering gear should be sanded with No. 00 sandpaper. Diamond gauze should not be used.

I had the cable on my regulator break and instead of taking it somewhere to get it fixed, I decided to do this one on my own. Found this one and Amazon said it fit my 2012 Silverado 1500 so, I ordered and received it next day. Pretty simple to install, perfect fit, and works like a charm.

Installation was a breeze and these lined up perfectly on my 2012 Silverado. I can't tell a bit of difference in the performance between these and the original. Total replacement time was about 1/2 hour. Check out the YouTube videos if you've never done one before. It will save you a lot of frustration.

Easy replacement, exact fit, worked great. Just zip-tie the power connection pigtail around the motor support arm and all is good.
