Attention

Maintenance and Repair of Window Regulator
- During regular maintenance of the electric lifter, all moving parts of the motor should be cleaned. The shaft sleeve of the transmission part should be filled or replaced with lubricating grease. The wear marks and carbon deposits on the surface of the motor steering gear should be sanded with No. 00 sandpaper. Diamond gauze should not be used.

Definately need to cut and or drill out factory mounting rivets. No mounting hardware included so I had to gather two bolts and locking nuts for installing. Instructions a bit vague. Install took three hours to complete. Entire inside panel and door latch mechanism needs to be dissassembled in order to install. Definately worth googling videonon steps needed to accomplish this task. New window noticeably faster than passenger oem gmc motor (1/3 faster speed up and down). Plug and play electrical connection fit perfectly. Metal hardware a bit lighter quality than oem but is to be expected from a Chinese mfg. Longevity...who knows but at least for now my drivers side window operates. The pem window motor lost conductivity over time and use - dirt etc.). Window motor intermittently would function which led to replacing.

The motor went out in my other regulator. After taking the old regulator out, I plugged in the motor in the new regulator and it fired right up. It went in fast and easy and works great so far.
