Update: my work recently updated / upgraded my laptop from a Latitude 5510 (2020 model) to a 5550 (2024 model), and I cannot charge this new laptop with this adapter. So just be aware that this adapter may or may not work for you.I currently need to lug around two laptops for my job, and older Dell Latutude that uses the round 7.4mm power plug and a newer Latitude that charges using a USB-C connection. On top of the weight of the laptops themselves, it was annoying having to carry around two separate power bricks for charging, esp. since I would almost never have to charge both at once. This FASTELECTRIC 7.4mm Laptop Charging Adapter has eliminated that annoyance for me.The adapter is very simple to use ... plug the 7.4mm power plug from the older power brick into one end, and the USB-C end into the USB-C port on the new laptop. I tested this and it charges the new laptop just fine. The only thing to make sure is that the old power brick being used supplies enough power to charge the newer laptop with the USB-C port.Highly recommended.

I have a few older Dell chargers laying around that have the classic "Dell Large Barrel Jack" connector that can't be used on the latest generation of Latitudes. This adapter lets me use those old chargers on the new laptops. I want a few more to put on other adapters I have so I can leave one in the bedroom, one in the living room, and one in my computer bag.
