This capacitor is used for a compressor motor and a fan motor

Oval run capacitor can be used to substitute round shape one with the
same MFD and volt specs.A 440 volt capacitor can be used in place
of a 370 volt, as it is build better, but the 370 can’t be used in place of a 440 volt.

My capacitor was bad along with my contactor so I bought them both on here and now I have working air conditioning. They have lasted all summer long, I was able to replace them pretty easily and didn't have to pay big money to a big company. For the price I feel I got a great deal, I would for sure buy again!

This capacitor works great got cold air again without breaking the bank. A/C repair guys are replacing compressors or whole units for $1000 to $2000 which probably is a okay price but most likely don’t need to be done. Most repair guys are salespeople nowadays I was quoted for $500 to $800 for a capacitor replacement which is insane luckily I am mechanically capable so this capacitor swap is super easy. (SERIOUS IMPORTANT NOTE) Do not do this without reading or watching instructions you can zap yourself with capacitors even with power off and it could be fatal. My old capacitor was so faulty it discharged extremely fast and caused sparks and melted part of my screw driver with all power disconnected, so please be careful.

My old one was from the 80s. My old one did not say 370 or 450, it only said 370. But works great so far on my well pump.
