A great idea but the metal mounting bracket is still not stout enough! Lining up the holes on the bracket with the holes in the frame of the truck took a little redneck engineering but finally got it on. First time i stepped onto the step, it sagged down as if made of butter! From there, you would never be able to step from it up onto the tailgate! Maybe onto the bumper but not up to my tailgate. I have a 2016 f150 xlt supercrew. I'll have to redneck engineer something to beef it up before it will work for me or it was just a waste of money.
