I added a cross-box to my 2021 F350, problem is the box is too tall or I'm too short to see and access the contents. These steps were the answer. They fold up under the truck well and give enough added height that I can see and reach anything I need.Steps look well made and the best part was the fit. The instructions said I may need to drill a hole for the bracing but there was an accessible hole right where I needed it to be. Instructions take a few minutes to figure out but if you just go for it it eventually makes sense. I added a step to both sides. First one took 1/2 hour. Second one was installed in 10 minutes.

Just like many of the reviews, I had to grind the shoulders off the bumper bracket nuts in order for them to fit into the step mounting bracket recessed bolt hole.

I put this on my 2018 F250 certainly was a great help for getting into the back of the truck when the tailgate is down and items are in the way of the built-in step. Has been very helpful and built well.

Some assembly required, to say the least. None of it seems to fit up quite right. Attaching it to the truck is not working for me, and you have to drill holes in the frame. The instructions are awful as well. The step and mechanism itself seems to be decent quality it’s the attachment brackets that are the issue. The 2 main holes that are for attaching to the truck are larger than the provided hardware and no washers. So the bolts spin into the bracket and don’t tighten the bracket to the truck so it just hangs there not secured at all. Since the instructions are trash I may be doing something wrong, hard to tell.

Factory nuts don't fit back in the hole to bolt it back into the frame. Had to take a grinder and grind factory bolts flares off so that it would fit other than that everything is nice about the step.

Installed on my 1999 F-350. It’s very difficult to climb into the bed when the tailgate is down. This seems to solve that problem. Be aware that you will probably need to grind down the shoulders on the bumper attachment nuts to fit inside the step bracket clearance holes. The limited space is also an issue for finding a socket that fits in the holes to tighten the nuts. Lastly, if you your bumper is like mine (see photo) be prepared to cut down the bumper tab (per instructions) so the step arm clears in the down position. I had to remove the step pad in order to cut the bumper to avoid removing the entire unit after installation. All in all I’m reasonably happy with result, just took a bit longer to install than expected considering the issues.

Bought one and my brother in-law stepped on it and it broke off of the mount. Bought a second one and it broke at the mount as soon as weight was placed on it. Garbage product.
