I purchased a project bike, 1981-issue, and I needed to fix the front brakes. First thing I needed was to replace the master cylinder. I found this item, ordered it, and received it promptly. Took all of 30 minutes to install, bleed the lines, and have in perfect working condition.

The only complaint I have as a brake lever is that the reach is pretty long. But the other complaint is that after a month of use the brake light switch wasn't working. It turned out the plunger was just a little too long and it got smashed by the lever eventually, and the smashed plastic bits gummed up the switch and didn't allow it to operate. I was able to clean out the broken bits and it started working again but I don't know how long I rode without my brake light working. Just keep an eye on it if you buy this.

Excellent replacement for a hard to find part on my scooter. Only drawback is the threaded part for the mirror is different but I will find a fi.
