Roller is to tight and will not roll. Very frustrating.

The roller kept slipping out the handle because the little metal things that connect the roller to handle were too short. I bought a screw and some washers to replace the one little metal joiner, solved the problem. I can still unsrew the scrw to take the brayer apart for cleaning. Its a solid tool. Manufacturer should ensure the 2 little metal joiners that hold the roller to the handle are longer and are inserted more securely; this wld prevent the problem.

Works well for my ceramic glazes. Well built, not flimsy like some I’ve seen. Would recommend.

I used this Brayer with acrylic paint on a gel plate. When I washed it just as I do my several other rollers of different sizes, this one gets very sticky every time! I ether have to roll it in cornstarch or rub paint on it in order for it to roll. Also it randomly freezes up. I found out that I can tap the metal piece at the side on cement and it works again…for a while. How inconvenient. I would only give it one star.

The brayer is useful if looking for a larger HARD rubber brayer, but the name is misleading.
