In some things, you can cheap out and frankly not notice much if any difference. Mics are not one of those things. I'm a total layperson here, just using these a few times a year to get content for some nonprofit events that I'm involved with - but when you need them, YOU NEED THEM. One of our events is a dance competition, and we do interviews in the studio. The one with basically all hard surfaces. Whewww, have I heard some bad audio. These solve that problem and knock the echo right out. We've got several cheaper mic sets, and they're fiddly and don't want to connect or have large embarrassing brand names in bright white on the fronts, but most importantly they don't perform like I need them to perform. These don't take a PhD to run, and they kill an echo that has won many, many battles in the past. I'm not your girl to parse the details and tell you exactly why that is (other than actual noise cancellation, which doesn't usually come on the cheap sets), but I will tell you that it works.I would like it if these came with a case that holds everything that comes in the box, but that is obviously not my highest priority.

They say the mics and receivers last for 5 hours, but you can charge them from the case itself, about 1.5 charges. That’s pretty sweet! Although a full charge from the case is said to take about 2 hours.200 meter range. Mics connect easily to the receiver. Very convenient and easy to use overall. The receiver has audio out via 3.5mm or USB-C. That’s nice, because that means it works without a phone being involved at all, I can send audio directly into a video camera, for example. It comes with a couple of nice 3.5mm cables. No USB-C to USB-C cable is included. I’ll probably have to get one, as I imagine I’ll want to use it that way at some point.I’d like to leave the wind socks on all the time, but they won’t fit inside the charging case. That’s somewhat unfortunate. They have to come off and go in the carry bag (the carry bag is itself pretty nice). The wind socks are much easier to put on than others I’ve used.

This is pretty cool. I have a DJI Mic 2 system, but I can only use it with up to two speakers. To be able to have a mic system I can use for four speakers when needed is fantastic.I love how all of the mics and the receiver in this set snap magnetically into the charging case. The case itself feels like more breakable, inexpensive plastic than the metal charging case included with my DJI mics. Still, even the 7RYMS case snaps shut magnetically, which is nice, and it is amazing that four wireless microphones plus a transmitter fit in here!I love that wind screens and wires come included here, and there’s a drawstring bag to carry it all around in. One thing I do miss compared to my DJI Mic is that on this one the wind muffs and lavalier magnets don’t fit inside the charging case. I do imagine that would make the case bigger, though, which I also don’t want, so perhaps the drawstring bag is a fine compromise. The mics themselves are lightweight and small. I’d love to see them smaller, but they’re not too big as they are.I also kind of wish the receiver had a built-in USB plug for easy attachment to your iPhone, rather than having to connect a separate cable, but there are advantages to the cable method as well.I plugged the receiver into my iPhone, opened the default camera app, and walked all the way across my house wearing this microphone, with my back to the receiver. Audio came through clearly. I’m super impressed. I do think the printed instructions could have been a bit clearer, but this isn’t a hard system to learn or use.

This is a really solid multi mic set that just has a few small issues. The sound quality and build quality is good, and it does come with wind muffs and magnets for each one. Sadly the mics don't have a port for you to attached a wired lav. The mics have a decent battery life, and they charge quick in the case. You can mute and turn on noise reduction on the mic, which is useful. The receiver requires you to use a TRS to TRS or TRRS cable to attach it to your camera or phone. Something I wish they would add is a led to see the status for each of the lavs as it doesn't show you if one is muted or even connected or not. Fortunately you can monitor via a aux out port on the receiver to make sure everyone can be heard. For the price the quality of the sound is great and the fact you can connect up to four people is awesome. It would be great for a talking head type situation, or a multi client interview.

These microphones have been phenomenal! Out of the box, they connect instantly and are ready to use. I've used them on my phone and my pc mainly and on both devices, it was as simple as connecting to a usb-c cable and everything works. The sound out of each microphone is surprisingly good quality, and it is easily acceptable in many scenarios that I've used it in. The case charges all the devices fast, and the case itself recharges fairly quickly as well. in a single day, I want to say I've gotten around 6 hours of use out of it before needing to charge which is more than acceptable.
