We used this for the door to the storage area under our back porch. Was hard to find something with simple, classic lines that will hopefully last for years outside. It's too soon to tell but the quality seems like it will. This is exactly what I was looking for and especially for the price. Also love that the handle is a little longer than most.

If you are looking for a great, clean looking matte finish handle I would highly recommend it. The screws are too short, which resulted in the handles becoming too loose. I purchased slightly longer screws which made it much more durable and stable. No more wiggling!

Bought two of these for either side of a gate. These handles are surprisingly light weight so can't vouch for the materials used; however, they appear to be excellent quality. They look just like the pictures, well machined the screws and handle match perfectly, I was a bit skeptical about the tiny screws supplied but they hold the handles firmly in place. The black finish of the handle seems robust and there was no exposed metal at all, so should stand up well to rust and corrosion, similarly the screws are finished in black to match the handle and the coating was not damaged at all by my screwdriver.

This handle was installed outside for 2 years now in the wet Pacific Northwest where it has endured sun, lots of rain, snow and ice. It still looks as good as the day we installed it.
