This product was the correct size for our needs for our solar panels. Connected to the system so we could get up and running and have power. The fuse was a little smaller than we liked but it worked until we got what we needed.

Wire is decent quality, fuse holder is good, comes with terminal ends also. Good product for the money.

I'm using this for running a 12v wire from my truck's battery to the cab so I can connect a power inverter. The length is right for this purpose. If you don't have a heat gun and want to shrink the heat shrink tube you can use one of those lighters that looks like a small torch (found in smoke shops). You can get this wire kit with or without the fuse. I got the one with the fuse. As long as you stay within the max power requirements for 8 gauge, this wire should last many years.

Despite what is advertised, this is not 8 guage wire. This is now like 10 or 12.

Best for light duty use. At 40 amps (rated load for this gage) wire was noticeably hot. To make the lugs grip the wire double it over.Recommend for 20 amp loads.

4 Stars not the best cable, I've used by a long shot, butfor the price it was decent. Got the job done, seems to be decent enough.Considering the price, I'd say its a good deal. The connectors it includes were nice good quality.

I recently ventured into enhancing my solar setup and picked up these wires, but soon realized they were CCA instead of pure copper. It was an unexpected lesson in the nuances of wire materials. When the cables arrived, I couldn't help but notice a few spelling errors on them, which initially made me question their quality. Despite this, the package included a helpful assortment of connectors, heat shrinkable tubes, and a fuse holder, which all seemed fairly robust.Intending to use them for a significant solar project, I reconsidered due to their CCA nature and instead allocated them to a smaller system. To my relief, they've been functioning well in this capacity. The wires are not the pinnacle of what I've used in the past, but considering the cost, they've been a satisfactory investment. The quality of the connectors was an unexpected perk, adding some value to the purchase. However, it's crucial to approach these CCA wires with a bit of caution. The translucent sheathing, similar to that of speaker wires, and their actual diameter closer to a 10-gauge wire beneath the thick insulation, suggest they're better suited for lighter applications. Oversizing is vital with CCA to compensate for efficiency differences, and regular checks for corrosion are a must. While they've been adequate for my less demanding setup, anyone considering these should weigh the specifics of their project against the nature of CCA wires. Despite the initial doubts, they've been a decent, cost-effective solution for my smaller solar needs.

I got these for my solar setup but didn’t realize that they were CCA and not pure copper. You live and you learn. They have printed the word standard and current wrong on the cables themselves which makes me wonder how trustworthy these wires are. They came with a bunch of connectors and heat shrinkable tubes, as well as a fuse holder. The quality seems to be fairly good despite the misspellings. While I had planned to use these on my large solar setup, I’ve decided to use them on my small system to be safe. So far so good.
