I have some 70 lb sheets of glass that will be going onto my porch in the fall. I was already warned that this would not be a one person job and a heavy duty suction cup would be beneficial. This locks onto the glass with a few pumps of the button and holds without a slip while lifting, twisting, pulling and otherwise trying to loosen it. When it was time to release a press of the relief button eased off the pressure and the suction cup came away smoothly. This is very easy to hold on to and can be placed wherever it is easiest to hold onto the glass. It is going to be a tough job but this will make all the difference in the world.

I have a smaller lever-type sucker that I got at that place down by the harbor, but it’s junk next to this one. This sucker is probably 50 times stronger, simpler to use, and far more trustworthy.This sucker has two advantages over lever models. First, you can add suction while it’s attached. You can’t do that with lever models, and worse, you won’t know you even need to until it fails and drops whatever you’re carrying.Which brings me to the second advantage. It has an easy-to-see suction indicator. There’s a blue ring around the pump plunger, and you know there’s enough suction when it’s hidden. If it starts to show, you can just add another pump.It doesn’t come with a case, but for the price, that’s understandable. I think one of the secrets to success with these is that you have to keep the rubber squeaky clean, and a case is the best way to do that. It does come with some spare parts for the valve, as well as a maintenance manual.I hope this helps.
