I heat up my corn tortillas one at a time on my cast iron griddle, and this covered warmer keeps the already cooked ones warm. The shallow design limits the air space, which is probably why this works better than a covered casserole dish. It does not keep them from getting a little soggy, though, because of the trapped steam. I solved this problem by placing the lid on very slightly askew so steam has an escape route and they don't get as flimsy by the end of the meal. My husband scoffed at this purchase, but he has come around.

Works great, dishwasher safe. Goes with my dinnerware so looks great on the table (not a fan of the visuals of the plastic ones).

I purchased this for warming tortillas. I read the previous reviews, some said that the bowl was too fragile but I don’t think it’s overly fragile. That said the bowl and lid are made of porcelain clay, this isn’t earthenware. The bowl is not very deep but will probably hold 8-12 tortillas and only 8†in diameter so the smaller flour tortillas will fit but nothing larger. I am deducting one star because my bowl is not round, it’s flattened on one side. I was concerned that the lid wouldn’t fit but it did so I intend to keep and use the dish. The lid is heavy, the bowl a little lighter weight. I am sure this will keep the food warm as long as the bowl is pre warmed. Overall a nice item and good value at this price point.

Although no instructions were included to preheat the warmer it wasn't too difficult to experiment. I preheated it on high for one minute and added thirty seconds, then added the Mandarin pancakes to heat up for about a minute. They stayed nice and warm for awhile. I was busy with a dinner party so didn't pay too much attention to the warmer but I'm sure it would maintain heat for an hour. Very happy with the purchase.I was really interested in the free e-book of recipes but nothing accompanied the package to show how to receive it. I had to investigate how to email the company and long story short they sent me the pdf.

Bought this Aug. 6 2023, used it quite often in the microwave to heat my tortillas, this morning put it in the microwave as usual and heard a noise, opened the door and it was cracked in half. Don’t buy doesn’t last. In the description of the product it says microwave safe.

The size is big enough to add a kitchen towel and cover the tortillas while they being stored. It looks expensive and elegant on the table. I washed it in the dishwasher without issues. costumer service is superb!

the product arrived with a cracked cover, after a bit of bother amazon sent me the return label, have tried sending the product back at least 4 times, the post would not accept it, was so annoyed that i ordered another one in the meantime, this arrived in one piece, it is beautiful..pity,as the deadline was the end of november... very nice product

Till the time I used it for my tortilla serving it worked but yesterday I used in oven for 15mins and it comes out with cracks!!! Definitely not oven safe... Absolute waste of my money

Ein Stern Abzug für das Styropor bei der Verpackung. Ein Material, das nicht mehr zeitgemäß ist und umweltschädlich. Sonst bin ich sehr zufrieden. Der Topf ist dekorativ und hält die Tortillas warm. Ich habe ihn kurz vorher etwas im Backofen erwärmt. Ist aber nicht unbedingt nötig, wenn man den Deckel immer gleich wieder schließt und die Tortillas direkt aus der Pfanne in den Topf gegeben werden.
