Determine guide bar length by measuring from the front of the chainsaw to the tip of the guide bar.
2. Chain Pitch
The chain pitch specification for this guide bar is 3/8 inch.
3. Chain Gauge
The specification is found by measuring the cross section of the drive links in the guide bar recess.
4. Drive Links
Count each drive link to know the total number of drive links on your saw chain.

My Wen 4019's chain kept falling out of the guide bar.At first I thought it was the chain, so I replaced the chain.No luck, it kept happeneing.So I got this to replace the guide bar, and it works perfect.

I was very happy to find on Amazon about 8" guide and chain for my poke saw. The original company said theirs was on back order and I found this substitute. It fit and works well.

I purchase the 10 inch 3/8LP 050 40DL for sun joe 10 inch pole saw and does not fit. The item received is 9 1/2 inches in length. The original sun joe bar when measured from the back to the front ls 11 inches in length. The exposed part of the bar is 91/2 while the non exposed part closer to the sprocket is 1 1/2 inches totalling 11 inches. The information is misleading.Gopaul Ramsaroop

Took apart my HF pole saw and managed to misplace it. When this popped up I figured this would be worth a shot.This was a direct replacement for my missing bar, chain fit great and I was able to get my saw back up and running.This is a nice alternative to waiting for replacement parts from the HF.
