Update: 8.22.24, I am changing my rating to 5 stars. The company sent me replacement light for the defective light. I have installed the new light and it works great! The company was easy to work with after they read the review and reached out to me. They worked fast to bring a resolution to the light that was not working.Update: 8.17.24. I am changing my rating to 3 stars. The company reached out to me after I left the one star review. They have told me that they are going to replace the light that is not working. They gave me the option of getting a refund or a new light. I will update this again when I receive the replacement light.I will also note that the other lights are working well and they are bright and illuminate the area great!Purchased 8 pack of lights on 4/21/24. The lights worked great and they were bright, but now one of the lights has stopped working.I’ve only had them installed for 3 months.

We need several lights for our workshop and new barn, so we decided to test multiple units before settling on any one brand or model. Here are the results when I compared wall packs from Acohook, Aphyni, Lightdot and Revibeit:All four are similarly constructed and easy to use. They have aluminum housings, but, unlike some of the other wall packs I’ve received, the lenses are plastic instead of glass; so, I’m concerned that they may yellow or become brittle over time. Although three of the four are neutral brown, the Revibeit is bright orange; thus, it makes a bold statement! The four also have similar specs and features. Each is 150 watts and includes a photocell for dawn-to-dusk capability, in addition to the typical on/off function by utilizing enclosed caps. However, although they are all rated for 22500 lumens and 5000 kelvins, the quantity and quality of light is different. We tested the output by illuminating a fence line that was 50 feet away, and recorded our observations, along with any other pertinent information (including pricing information), below:ACOHOOK had the strongest light, but the fixture is huge - it’s approximately the same size as the old 400 watt units. A metric Allen key is required since two A2-70 bolts need to be removed in order to access the wiring. The installer should have prior experience with wall packs since no paperwork is included.Caulking is not required, but the weather proofing gasket is odd - there’s no channel for it to fit in. Instead, it free floats as it is stretched over the lens and screwed down. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit quite right, either, so we will have to monitor the fixture closely to make sure that water doesn’t seep in. There are punch outs for the mounting screws.Current pricing is unavailable as there are no new fixtures for sale at this moment.APHYNI was tied with Revibeit for the least strongest light, but the output is more than adequate. Although it’s listed at $90, there’s currently a price reduction and coupon available; so, its final cost is a $81 and change. It’s the only one of the four whose weather seal is actually glued to the back, which is convenient. It, too, has punch outs for the mounting screws and it’s roughly the same size as both the Lightdot and Revibeit fixtures.LIGHTDOT - Although it was the second brightest fixture overall, this unit illuminated the largest total area of the four (it projected the furthest). There’s a channel for the weather strip and punch outs for the mounting screws. It actually is our favorite unit. When I placed my order, a pack of one had a suggested retail price of $70, but I don’t see them listed now. However, a 2 pack is $106 and there’s currently a $10 off coupon available, so they’re $48 a piece.REVIBEIT was the tied for the least brightest along with the Aphyni unit, but it would be more than adequate for most installations. Price-wise, it’s listed at $80, but, with the current $8 coupon, it’s $72. It, too, comes with a channel for the weather seal and punch outs for the mounting screws. However, the color is unique. In conclusion, although all of the fixtures share the same specs and function as advertised (they can light a wall and the photocell works), they are not created equally. After testing these four fixtures, the Lightdot is the superior unit, in my opinion, followed by the Aphyni. The Acohook is just too large and it has issues, and we’d feel compelled to paint the Revibeit before using it. Although the Aphyni was the least bright, along with Revibeit, it is more than up to most tasks. The Lightdot, however, is not only the most economical, it covers the largest area.

I recently installed this LED wall pack light in my parking lot and have been really impressed with its performance. It lights up a large area with a clear, bright light that makes the space feel significantly safer and more inviting at night. The automatic dusk-to-dawn function is incredibly convenient, turning on at sunset and off at sunrise without any extra effort on my part. The build quality is solid, and it clearly feels like a well-constructed piece of equipment. Even after several weeks of heavy rain and cold weather, it continues to perform without any issues, which gives me confidence in its durability. It’s exactly what I was looking for in terms of outdoor security lighting.Installation was fairly straightforward using my existing junction box and some basic tools. While the instructions could have been a bit more detailed, I managed to adjust the mounting to get the perfect angle, and it now covers the entire area I need.Overall, this wall pack light delivers on its promise of brightness, energy efficiency, and durability. It has truly transformed my parking lot by eliminating dark spots and adding a sense of security. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone in need of reliable outdoor lighting for commercial or residential use.

These LED wall packs have come a long way from the heavy power consuming halogens they're replacing. Well worth the price in saving of electricity and performance of brightness, color temp and instantaneous light. These don't need to be wired into a switch if used outside, the photocell works perfect for dusk to down operations. However if you did one to manually switch these on the photocell can be covered with an included cap. The light cover of these is a cool bright white light (5000k). I prefer the warmer temp light (3000K) but the cooler color throws light a little further and use less power. These are great option for replacing existing wall packs or the standard outdated two bulb motion sensor flood lights you see everywhere. Insulation is pretty simple mointing into an existing J-box and connecting three wires. If you're going to put several of these in the same area I recommend buying a pack of all the same kind to keep the color/temp of the light uniform.
