I originally bought it to remove aged water spots, it didn’t work that great for that, but what i did notice was how well it worked getting the dirt off the paint. It’s amazing how much this picks up on things you can barely see with the eye. Make sure you use water or it will scratch the paint!! Well worth the elbow grease!!

Used Toutle wax car wash and water combo instead of included wash. It worked great and left surfaceprepared for polishing.

Didn’t work on my primered hood but that might be why have clear coat on it but didn’t do anything

Several companies offer a bottle of premixed lubricant and 1 bar for double the price as this kit. You buy a quart-sized spray bottle for a few dollars and save a ton of money. The only downside about the tablets is they take forever to dissolve. This isn't unique to this kit/company, it's most of the dissolving tablets. I've learned to crush the tablets before putting them in water, shake well, and let them sit overnight.

This is perfect for someone wanting to clay bar their car cheap. It does as good as the professional clay just packed a little cheaper.

I bought this product to have some clay bars ready for use the next time I needed them. I had used the Mothers clay two days before trying these and they were great. I wanted to see how these compared to the Mothers. This product left scratch marks in my paint - had to go over the area with my old clay bar to try to remove the scratches. That helped some but did not erase the marks. I applied polishing compound to see if I could get the marks out but that did not work. Unfortunately I used these clay bars on a small area of the hood, right at the center raised area so it is somewhat visible even after applying wax. After a lot of elbow grease and different products, you have to look closely to see the marks but I can still see traces.
