These clips have very strong springs, which I like. When I use them to clamp things together, they stay clamped.

After decades of breaking those cheap, plastic, clips, I finally found these and have never been happier!!!They are all metal, very well made, and the metal spring is strong enough to last for years... Easy to clean if necessary, and now ALL the bags of things we have clipped are lasting so much longer... Thank you!!!

After reading pages of reviews about these metal clips, I decided to get these. They most resembled the one's I purchased some years ago, but I did not have a sufficient number for multiple uses.When I opened the mailing pack, the clips were individually wrapped in clear plastic, a set number to a pack, then each clip wrapped in individual plastic. When I pressed and opened the clip, each one gave a slight noise and felt stuck briefly. Repeating opening and closing the jaws, the sound and stiffness did not occur again. It was kind of like exercising a stiff joint.The clips grabbed my items, including a large bag of dog food, "hungrily". I don't think I need worry about these babies for a while.

Work particularly well keeping large bags of frozen food closed -- other plastic clips have a way of falling off and letting frozen food spill out of the bags.

These storage bag clips are so pretty and aren't like the typical plastic ones. They're very durable, made of metal and made a perfect addition to my gold fixtures in my kitchen. If you like matte gold finishes I highly recommend these.
