When we camp the wind often disrupts the tablecloth we use on picnic tables. I’ve used tape and binder clips but not always happy, especially with how it looks. I’ve seen people with weights that clipped on so I thought I would try these. So far I am pleased with the set and the quality of the bags. The bags feel like a heavy cotton duck/denim fabric, have nice strong stitching and the grommets feel sturdy too. The set gives you 8 fabric bags, 8 plastic liner zipper-bags and 8 metal clips with hooks but there is no handy pouch for storing them, nor any extra liner bags or clips, so I think this set was intended for continual use once installed on curtains. I still think they’ll work for my purpose and I like that I can empty the liner bags to collapse and travel with everything tucked into a gallon size zip-bag. The fabric bags are a vanilla/creme color that is a nice neutral, and the clips match the grommets in a silver-tone. The fabric bags have a velcro strip as a closure, but it actually takes care to get the grommets onto the hooks so I doubt anything would fall out of the pouches unless you didn’t use the liner bags. To experiment for this review, I weighed the whole set which came to about 7 ounces, which seems well worth the travel weight (unfilled) for the functionality. Then I filled one liner bag with water, inserted it into a pouch, hooked on a clip and weighed it: just over a half-pound. I clipped the filled pouch to a towel to see if the clip was strong enough and that worked fine. What I couldn’t prove was whether filling the liner bags with sand would make them weigh almost a pound; I don’t have any sand, but I do know sand does weigh more by volume. You can “giggle†that to check my work… oh and I laid their liner bag next to a snack bag from $tree for size comparison - should be easy enough to replace the plastic bags if they burst or tear. If you only plan to fill the bags once, they should work fine as long as the pouches are treated with care.Sometimes we clip a curtain to our trailer awning sides for extra shade, and these pouches will help keep those curtains from flapping in the wind too much. And I’ll be glad to have these for our tablecloth too, I’m confident they’ll prevent the cloth from flipping up and spilling contents off the table - unless its a wind storm and then, well yeah, just clear off the table, duh.I think as a permanent solution for outdoor curtains you’ll like this set because they are a nice uniform and unobtrusive design in a good neutral color. For RVers and campers, the ability to empty and fill the pouches only when you need them saves you the weight that real weighted sets add to your load. The only issue might be whether the grommets and clips metal material is also rust-proof, which will eventually discolor the metal and likely stain the pouches. At $22 for the set, the metal is probably not stainless steel, so I plan to keep these out of wet, rainy conditions. But they are nice looking, well made and easy to use. Hope that helps!

These look exactly as pictured and they come with everything you will need to use them except for what you want to use for the weight. I decided to use sand in mine. It was easy to fill up but would have gone quicker with another person to help. They are easy to clip on my curtains outside to prevent them from blowing all around during the windy days.

These curtain weights are beyond clever. I've tried a few, and they were all too lightweight for my crazy, windy city. We enjoy sitting outside in spring, summer, and fall, with curtains on one side of our pergola. The problem is that the curtains flap right into our table and guests when the wind picks up. But the sun is too intense if we don't use the curtains! This curtain weight set stands out because each neutral-colored pouch has a firm velcro closure and a plastic ziplock-style baggie to fill with sand, rocks, or whatever meets your environment's needs! I immediately filled the pouch with small stones. The clips are sturdy, and the hooks are strong, too, along with the grommets. This is a clever idea since the purchaser discusses the weight of the pouch. Eight pouches is a significant number since I need a few for the curtain, and a couple for the end of the table is a good idea, too. The size is also good since they are too crazy large (about 5 x 6 inches) but big enough to address the task at hand. In theory you could probably sew fabric on top of each pouch to match your curtains better if needed. I am a fan of the fabric glue, so I might do that in the future if I ever buy darker curtains.

These are exactly what curtain weights should be. Well-made, sturdy, good fabric, great size, and solid hardware. The clips are strong (while remaining easy to use) and clip easily to curtains. They're easy to fill and serve their purpose beautifully. I've heard that they're water resistant but have yet to try hosing them down. I'll update when I do.Overall, these are exactly what we needed for our outdoor curtains & I'm thrilled with their functionality.

These do not work in strong winds. I'm in Phoenix and it gets very windy here. One of the sand bags were picked up by the wind and hurled at me, so they're borderline dangerous in heavy wind.

After a bit of research, I ordered these weights for my gazebo panel curtains. It's very windy in my area, so having solid heavy weights was important to me. Most of the weights that I found were only a few ounces, so they'd either be totally ineffective or I'd need a ridiculous number of them. These are different because I can control how heavy I want them to be based on what I fill them with. Dirt, sand, pebbles, water, concrete, you name it, it'll work (some require more creativity than others!) These are the best weights that I've found so far and the only ones that stand a chance of working well.

I recently got the WUBOECE 8 Pack Outdoor Curtain Weights, and they are fantastic! They’re super easy to use—just add sand or pebbles, and they’re ready to go. These 15oz sandbag weights keep my outdoor curtains in place perfectly. Highly recommend for anyone looking to keep their drapes steady and stylish!

It may seem funny, but I bought these for my shower curtain! I hate when cold air sneaks in through the bottom of the curtain, especially in winter. I put one on each edge and it solved the problem! No more drafty showers!
