I broke the buckle on my Choco sandals and thought this would easily work to fix it but they do not get friction and The strap slides right through the buckle.

The plastic part on my bike helmet's brim (Da Brim) broke. This is a perfect replacement, allowing a quick repair without any stitching. So far, the clip has been plenty strong enough to handle the winds.

I was going to throw one of my favorite bags away when the buckle broke but came across these and now we are back in business!Regarding the reviews that said the strap didn't "bite", if the strap is installed backwards, it will do this. Just flip it around to feed it from the other side and you should be all set

I purchased a package of 8, I had to throw away 3 because they wouldn't latch properly. Great concept but needs better quality control.

The cross bars need more of a rough texture. Straps tend to just slide back through with no resistance. Yes, I have the strap threaded through correctly. Solid idea though.
